Depends on how deep the scratch is. Rubbing compound will take out fine scratches. You could also go to an autobody supplies store and ask them. Or go to a body shop and simply ask how it’s done and if they can sell you the materials. A lot of people are willing to help if they can.
you can get some mild rubbing compound at wal mart,,or any parts store,,and lightly rub it in to the scratch,,and rub it off,,you may have to do it a few times to get it all off from it,,but it works good,,and only cost a few dollars to buy,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s,,and have a good labor day.

It is theoretically impossible to get a scratch off. but you can buff the paint around it to be level with the scratch. If the scratch is to the metal it will have to be touched up with paint.
